Man they don't make films like this anymore. Giant killer rats, 3 foot long Wasps, Maggots the size of a cat, enormous killer chickens. Gotta love it. Based on the novel by H.G. Wells. It's about this farm couple on a remote island that have been feeding these insects and animals a liquid substance called the "food of the gods". which makes them grow 10 times their size. Until they start to run wild it's up to our hero of the film to save the day. Very low budget film and the SFX shows it, but that just adds to the enjoyment of it. Great campy movie here anyone in to old school cheesy B-level horror needs to check this out.
BTW: MGM did a great job with this release. It's only 10 bucks so there isn't a reason not to get it.
